Our General Guarantee

We guarantee everything we make, repair, and sell for a period of one year from the original date of delivery unless otherwise expressed in writing. Watches are warranted for one year upon completion of repair-not client pick-up. We guarantee that stones will not fall out for one year and that the center stone will not fall out indefinitely provided that the jewelry is brought in every six months for inspection. If repair work is needed, the client agrees that the work must be performed by Freilich Jewelers for this warrantee to be valid. A dated signature must be obtained for this warranty to be valid (see inside back cover).

We provide insurance coverage funds for one year for any diamond jewelry sold for over $1,000.00, excluding sale items. If you choose not to obtain insurance, then we do not provide any guarantee for stone loss on that jewelry. If you purchase an item for less than the originally marked price, you are responsible for providing insurance on that item and we do not guarantee loss of center gem stones.

Specific Item Guarantees:

Ring Sizing

One complimentary ring sizing is included with all rings purchased at Freilich Jewelers. Ladies rings to size eight and gents rings to size eleven and one-half.

We will assist you in determining your correct finger size. We will size to a different size from our recommendation as per your request, but do not provide any guarantee that the ring will fit. If you need a different size, either at time of pick up or anytime thereafter, then a charge will be incurred.

If a ring is sized based upon the customer's requested size without Freilich Jewelers taking the actual measurement and the size is incorrect, then a charge will be incurred to resize the ring.

We can only guarantee our ring sizing for the customer's finger. A size cannot be taken from another ring and be considered accurate.

While a ring's size doesn't fluctuate or change, a person's finger may become larger or smaller due to medication, weather or weight changes.

Some fingers may require a ring to have an orthopedic devise. We can not guarantee proper fit in those cases without an orthopedic shank.

Tightening and Checking

Tightening stones: Our extra fee charged to check and tighten stones will warranty against stone loss as long as the stones are set as described in our general warranty. Without the extra charge to tighten stones (as described in our price book for tightening stones), we do not warranty the stones against loss, unless we actually set the stones.

"Checking Links:" When asked to "check links" on rivets, chains, bracelets, clasps, etc., we can not guarantee their loss or durability. Many items can not be checked without taking them completely apart. This will cause the item to have to be repaired just because of the disassembly. Many items that are wearing "OK" today may have a problem days or weeks later. We can only guarantee items that we actually repair, not ones that we visually inspect.

We can not guarantee the loss of a stone when we do not retip or reprong all of the prongs when we deem it necessary.

If we do not charge to check and tighten your stones, then no guarantee or warranty is offered.

Gems and Diamonds

We do not guarantee that a diamond or gemstone, once taken out of our store will not chip, break, scratch, or fracture. We strongly suggest insuring your jewelry. If you do not have an existing policy, we can provide you with a referral.

We can not be responsible for the further fracture or damage to stones or diamonds that are received from the customer that are already damaged, chipped, broken, or have large inclusions or imperfections. We will inform you of these items before proceeding with the repair or installation work.
